Catholic.net Mission:

Love Christ + Serve People + Build the Church

Catholic.net History:

Catholic.net is the successor of the Catholic Information Center on the Internet (CICI), one of the pioneering Catholic websites, founded in 1995. “This [CICI] is Very, Very Great!” said Pope John Paul II when the CICI plan was presented to him.

James S. Mulholland Jr., founder and president of the Catholic Information Center on the Internet presents the CICI plan to Pope John Paul II, on October 7, 1995.

Catholic.net Content:

Catholic.net’s main goal is to equip Catholics with information that allows them to build a Christlike character and influence the culture with the Truth of the Gospel.

Catholic.net also aims to be a medium that presents the redemptory message of Our Lord Jesus Christ to all people through the life of the Holy Mother Church.

In Catholic.net you have free access to leading Catholic magazines and newspapers, like National Catholic Register and Faith and Family, papal encyclicals, Church documents, articles from topnotch experts, exclusive interviews with Church leaders, specialized newsletters, faith testimonials, helpful prayer and devotional services, and more. Every day, Catholic.net brings
to you the latest Catholic news from around the world, straight from the highly-regarded, Rome-based Zenit News Service.

We look forward, with the help of God's grace, to serving your information needs, and to working with you to help the Church build the civilization of truth and love, while proclaiming: Thy Kingdom Come!

Eucharistically Yours,

The staff of Catholic.net

"Lord, in my zeal for the love of truth,
let me not forget the truth about love.
